Privacy policy

What Guardia Boxing collects (almost nothing), how consent-based Google Analytics works, what affiliate links do, and your rights under CCPA and GDPR.

Updated

The short version

Guardia Boxing collects no personal data by default. Analytics run only if you accept them. We never sell, rent or trade any information about you. If you e-mail us, we keep your message to answer it.

Who is responsible

The site is published by Guillaume Renaud, whose details are on the legal notice. Privacy questions go to [email protected].

When you arrive, a banner asks whether you accept audience measurement. Until you answer, no analytics cookie is set. Google tags run in Consent Mode v2 with consent denied, which means they don’t store identifiers on your device.

Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key cc_consent, so we don’t ask again on every visit. To change your mind, delete this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will come back.

Refusing changes nothing about what you can read. No content is locked behind consent.

Analytics

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to know which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. This is aggregate data: how many people read a page, not who. Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data is processed by Google under its own terms, including transfers outside the European Union under the standard safeguards. We don’t use Google Signals or advertising features.

When you click a link to Amazon or another retailer, you leave this site. The retailer may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us, under its own privacy policy. Amazon’s is on amazon.com. We receive no personal information about you from these retailers: no name, no address, no order details.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request headers to deliver pages and block abuse, under its own privacy policy. We don’t keep server logs of our own.

E-mail

If you write to us, we keep your message as long as needed to answer it and for follow-up. We don’t add you to any list; there is no newsletter. Ask and your messages are deleted.

Your rights

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect (see above: essentially none), to request its deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we don’t sell or share it — and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

For any request, write to [email protected].

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no data from them.
